Accessibility statement
We treat the accessibility of this site as part of the service rather than an addition to it. This page sets out what was done to make the site usable by people with disabilities, what is not finished yet, and who to contact.
The standard this site was built to
The site is built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the guidelines referenced by Israeli Standard 5568 and by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations.
What was made accessible
The whole site is operable by keyboard alone, including skipping to the main content, navigation, search, filtering, and the link out to the store.
A hierarchical heading structure, named navigation landmarks, and alternative text on every image.
Contrast ratios were measured for every colour and text pair in use, and the keyboard focus indicator is visible on every operable component.
The site is tested automatically with axe-core across ten pages, at two screen widths and in all four interface languages, as part of the project's standing test suite.
The interface is published in Hebrew, English, Russian and Arabic, and the reading direction follows the language of the page.
The accessibility menu
The accessibility button appears on every page. It enlarges text, switches to light high contrast, dark high contrast or greyscale, changes to a readable font, increases line spacing, highlights links, highlights headings, strengthens the keyboard focus indicator, enlarges the mouse pointer, and stops animations. Settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.
What is not finished yet
A manual screen-reader review by a human tester who reads Hebrew has not been carried out. It is planned before the site opens to the public.
Product descriptions and guides are written in Hebrew even when the interface is shown in another language. They are marked as such so assistive technology reads them as Hebrew.
Product photography has not been published yet; a text alternative carrying the product name is shown in its place.
Accessibility coordinator
The accessibility coordinator's details — name, telephone, email and an accessible way to make contact — will be published here once the legal review is complete, before the site opens to the general public. The site is not open to the public at this stage.
